Is the CAPM worth it for my career?

Yes. CAPM is a globally recognised PMI credential that helps you access entry roles such as project coordinator and junior project manager. As Azerbaijan diversifies beyond oil and gas and expands its digital economy, certified project talent is increasingly in demand across sectors.

Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

No. CAPM requires no project work experience. You need a secondary degree, such as a high school diploma or global equivalent, plus at least 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides in full.

How long is the CAPM certification valid?

CAPM is valid for three years from the date of certification. To keep it active, you retake and pass the CAPM exam within the three-year cycle. Unlike PMP, CAPM renewal is by re-examination rather than earning PDUs.

How much does CAPM training cost in Azerbaijan?

What is included in the CAPM course fee?

Is the CAPM exam fee included in the training price?

No. PMI bills the exam fee separately in USD under regional pricing. For reference, it is around USD 225 for PMI members and USD 300 for non-members, and PMI periodically updates fees, so confirm current amounts on pmi.org before you apply.

What is the format of the CAPM exam?

The CAPM exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023. It is delivered through Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

The CAPM exam has 150 questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. The questions use single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice formats.

What does the CAPM exam cover?

The exam covers four domains from the 2023 CAPM Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks.

Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed percentage pass mark. The result is determined through psychometric analysis, with performance reported by domain, so aim for broad mastery across all four CAPM domains rather than a single target score.

What happens if I do not pass the CAPM exam?

You get up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Re-examination fees apply to later attempts, and our trainers provide preparation guidance to help you clear the exam on your first attempt.

What will I learn in the CAPM training?

You will learn project fundamentals, predictive plan-based delivery, agile frameworks and business analysis, mapped to the four CAPM exam domains and the PMBOK Guide, 8th Edition. The course covers scope, schedule, cost, risk, Scrum, Kanban and requirements management.

Do I need prior experience to follow the course?

No prior project experience is needed. The training is beginner friendly and starts with core concepts before moving into predictive and agile delivery, so students, graduates and career changers can follow it comfortably.

What learning resources and materials are provided?

You receive PMI-aligned courseware, references to the CAPM Examination Content Outline, practice questions, mock exams, chapter-wise quizzes and case studies that show how project concepts apply in real workplaces.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest CAPM syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and the PMBOK Guide Eighth Edition, covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.

Does this training meet the CAPM education requirement?

Yes. The 24-hour programme exceeds the 23 hours of project management education PMI requires, fully satisfying the CAPM education prerequisite. It qualifies as instructor-led CAPM preparation under the PMI Authorized Training Partner programme.
