    What is the format of the PMI-RMP exam?

    The PMI-RMP exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022. It includes single-answer and multiple-answer questions across five risk management domains.

    How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 115 questions and you have 2.5 hours (150 minutes) to complete it. Results are reported as pass or fail, with domain-level performance feedback rather than a fixed numeric score.

    What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

    Five domains per the January 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%). The training covers all five in depth.

    What if I do not pass the exam the first time?

    PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our mock exams, exam simulator and trainer support are designed to build your readiness so you sit the exam with confidence.

    Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam?

    You can take the exam online via Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctored system or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through PMI's portal or the Pearson VUE website once your application is approved.

    What topics does the PMI-RMP training cover?

    The training covers the five risk domains: risk strategy and planning, risk identification, risk analysis, risk response, and monitor and close risks. It also covers qualitative and quantitative tools and agile and hybrid risk practice.

    Can a beginner take this training, or do I need experience?

    Anyone can enrol in the training regardless of experience. To sit the PMI-RMP exam, PMI requires project risk management experience and risk education under one of its three eligibility sets, which our advisors can help you assess.

    Does the training satisfy the PMI-RMP education requirement?

    Yes. The 32 contact hours fully satisfy the 30-hour risk education requirement for Set B (bachelor's degree) and Set C (GAC-accredited degree) applicants. Set A candidates need 40 hours and should add at least 8 further hours.

    What learning resources are provided?

    You receive PMI-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock exams, an exam simulator, references to the PMI-RMP ECO and Handbook, and topic-wise quizzes to reinforce learning and track your progress.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest exam version?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and the PMI Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering predictive, agile and hybrid approaches.
