Assessment And Certificate

Is there an exam for the Azure DevOps course?

No. This is a non-certification course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure exercises throughout the day, so you practise the skills rather than sit a test.

What certificate do I receive after the training?

You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the programme. No formal credential is awarded by an external body; the value is the practical, immediately applicable skills you gain.

How are my skills assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each concept through hands-on labs, configuring repositories, pipelines, infrastructure and monitoring so you can confirm your understanding by doing the work.

Will this course prepare me for a Microsoft certification?

This is a practical skills course focused on doing DevOps on Azure, not on exam preparation. The concepts and tools you learn are foundational and useful, but the training itself does not lead to a formal certification.

Do I need an Azure account before attending?

Yes. You should have access to an Azure subscription and an Azure DevOps organisation, with a free tier available at dev.azure.com. Check with us on enrolment whether a shared training environment is provided.

Course Content

What topics does the Azure DevOps syllabus cover?

The syllabus spans six modules: DevOps and the Azure ecosystem, source control and CI with Azure Pipelines, continuous delivery, agile planning and infrastructure as code, containers with ACR and AKS plus monitoring, and DevSecOps with Azure Test Plans.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to build YAML CI/CD pipelines, manage Git repos with branch policies, deploy with ARM templates and Bicep, run containers on AKS with Helm, set up Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and integrate security scanning into pipelines.

Is the training hands-on or theory based?

It is hands-on throughout. You follow along in the Azure DevOps portal and Azure CLI as the trainer demonstrates each service, building real pipelines, infrastructure and dashboards using realistic DevOps scenarios.

Which Azure tools are covered in the course?

You work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts, Azure Test Plans, ARM templates and Bicep, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor, Application Insights and Microsoft Defender for DevOps.

Is the content kept current with Azure updates?

Yes. Microsoft updates Azure DevOps services frequently, and the training reflects current Azure practice across the delivery lifecycle so you learn tools and techniques as teams use them today.
