Kuwait Market Forces Driving Demand for COBIT 5 Assessors

    Central Bank Audit Mandate

The Central Bank of Kuwait Cybersecurity Framework requires annual third-party audits of all financial institutions, driving demand for professionals who can run formal, evidence-based capability assessments.

Assessor skills support CBK audit readiness

    National Cybersecurity Strategy

CITRA's National Cybersecurity Strategy 2023-27 raises assurance expectations across state entities, and COBIT 5 process assessment offers a structured, ISO/IEC 15504-aligned way to measure and report progress.

PAM assessments align to national standards

    Vision 2035 Digital Push

Kuwait Vision 2035 is accelerating digital transformation across government and enterprise, widening the gap between fast-growing IT estates and the governance maturity needed to control them.

    Assessors govern large transformation portfolios

    Certified Assessor Scarcity

Kuwait has many IT auditors but few professionals qualified to conduct formal COBIT 5 capability assessments, making the advanced Assessor credential rare and valued by regulated employers.

The credential makes holders stand out

    Critical Infrastructure Governance

Oil, gas and utility operators face converging OT and IT risk, demanding evidence-based governance assessment to satisfy boards, regulators and contractual assurance requirements.

Assessors handle OT and IT convergence

    Uneven Governance Maturity

Many Kuwaiti organisations run governance inconsistently across business units. The PAM capability levels and rating scale give leaders a repeatable way to benchmark and improve.

Rating scales bring consistency across units
