What Is Driving Observability Demand in Kuwait

    Cloud Migration at Scale

Kuwait's banks and government bodies are moving to sovereign and Azure cloud under New Kuwait 2035. Distributed, cloud-native systems are hard to see into without proper observability.

    OBSF builds three-pillar observability skills

    Downtime Costs in Digital Banking

Central Bank digital-banking rules raise the bar for uptime. Outages hit revenue and trust, so employers need engineers who can set service-level objectives and detect issues early.

OBSF builds SLO and reliability skills

    Telecom and 5G Complexity

Operators such as Zain, stc and Ooredoo run vast distributed networks and digital services. Tracing requests across these systems demands observability, not just traditional monitoring.

    OBSF builds distributed tracing skills

    Observability Talent Shortage

Kuwait's market is deep in general IT staff but thin in engineers fluent in OpenTelemetry, SLOs and the three pillars. A recognised credential makes holders rare and sought-after.

OBSF makes certified engineers stand out

    Alert Fatigue and Slow Response

Many teams drown in noisy alerts and struggle with slow incident response. Burn-rate alerting and blameless postmortems, taught in this course, cut fatigue and speed up recovery.

OBSF builds alerting and incident skills

    Fragmented Monitoring Tools

Siloed metrics, logs and tracing tools leave blind spots across systems. The three-pillar approach helps teams correlate signals and find root causes far faster.

Skills You Will Build in This CoursePractical Observability from Day One

This course teaches you how to make modern systems observable, from the three pillars of metrics, logs and traces to service-level objectives, OpenTelemetry and incident response. By the end you can instrument, monitor and troubleshoot cloud-native systems with confidence.

    Observability vs Monitoring Fundamentals

Understand what observability is, why it matters for cloud-native and microservices, and how it differs from traditional monitoring, including the three pillars, cardinality and high-context telemetry.

Working with Metrics, Logs and Traces

Collect and correlate the three pillars using counters, gauges and histograms, structured logging and log aggregation, and distributed tracing with spans and context propagation for root-cause analysis.

Setting SLIs, SLOs and Error Budgets

Define service-level indicators that matter to users, write meaningful service-level objectives, and use error budgets to balance reliability with delivery velocity and customer-facing SLA commitments.

    Instrumenting with OpenTelemetry

Apply OpenTelemetry SDKs, collectors and semantic conventions, build telemetry pipelines, and choose head-based, tail-based or dynamic sampling to manage high-cardinality data and control cost.

    Alerting and Incident Response

Move from alert-on-symptom to alert-on-burn-rate, design on-call rotations that reduce alert fatigue, build incident runbooks, and run blameless postmortems and continuous-learning loops.

    The Three Pillars Finally Clicked

"The course finally made the three pillars click for me. Metrics, logs and traces stopped being separate tools and became one way of understanding our systems. I passed the OBSF exam on my first attempt and now lead observability work on our platform team."

    Practical SLOs and OpenTelemetry

"The sessions on SLIs, SLOs and error budgets were the most practical training I have done. The OpenTelemetry walkthroughs mapped directly to what we run in production, so I could apply it the following week. Highly recommended for anyone in a reliability role."

A Clear Path from Monitoring to Observability

"I came from a traditional monitoring background and wanted to move into observability. The trainer explained the difference clearly and the mock exams built my confidence. I feel far more prepared for cloud-native incident response now."

A Shared Language for Our Teams

"We trained our operations and platform teams together and it gave everyone a shared observability language. Incident handovers are smoother and our postmortems are more structured. The delivery was flexible and fitted around our shift schedules."

    Standardised Our Observability Practice

"Rolling this out across our engineering group standardised how we instrument services and set service-level objectives. The trainers understood telecom-scale systems and tailored the examples to our environment. A strong return on our training investment."
