Is the ASF certification recognised in Mongolia?

Yes. EXIN is an internationally recognised examination body operating in over 165 countries, and EXIN Agile Scrum certifications are recognised by employers globally, including Mongolian organisations in banking, fintech, telecom and IT.

How long is the Agile Scrum Foundation certification valid?

The ASF certification is valid for lifetime. It does not expire, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing education requirement once you have passed.

What is the format of the EXIN ASF exam?

The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and aligned to the Scrum Guide and Agile Manifesto. It can be taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited test location.

How many questions are on the ASF exam and how long is it?

The EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and a duration of 60 minutes (one hour).

What is the passing score for the Agile Scrum Foundation exam?

You need 65% to pass, which means answering at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. The exam covers five topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking, Scrum Practices, Scrum Planning and Estimation, Monitoring Scrum Projects, and Advanced Scrum Concepts.

Are there any prerequisites for the ASF exam?

None. EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, regardless of education, experience or prior agile knowledge. Attending an accredited training course is recommended but not required.

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

You can re-sit the EXIN exam; confirm the current re-sit policy and any fee with EXIN before booking. Our training includes mock exams and first-attempt guidance to help you prepare thoroughly and reduce the risk of a retake.

What topics does the Agile Scrum Foundation course cover?

The course covers all five EXIN topic areas: Agile Way of Thinking (20%), Scrum Practices (30%), Scrum Planning and Estimation (20%), Monitoring Scrum Projects (15%) and Advanced Scrum Concepts (15%), plus exam preparation.

Can a complete beginner take this course?

Yes. ASF is designed for beginners and requires no prior agile or Scrum knowledge. The trainer builds concepts from the ground up, with examples and practice activities so newcomers can follow every topic.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full mock exams mapped to the 40-question EXIN format, so you can identify weak areas and build exam readiness before you sit the real paper.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest Scrum standards?

Yes. The courseware follows the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation Examination Specification and is aligned to the current Scrum Guide and the Agile Manifesto, so you learn Scrum as it is practised today.

How long is the ASF training and how is it delivered?

The instructor-led training is a 16-hour programme, delivered as two full days or four half-days depending on the schedule. It is available live virtual, in a classroom, or as onsite corporate training.
