Is there an exam for Azure DevOps Training?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the day rather than a formal assessment.

What do I receive after completing the training?

You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. No external credential is awarded, but the practical Azure DevOps skills you build apply to your work immediately.

How is my learning reinforced during the course?

Through practice. You follow the instructor in the Azure portal and CLI to create repositories, build pipelines, write Bicep templates, deploy containers and set up monitoring, so you apply each concept as you learn it.

Do I need an Azure account before attending?

Yes. You should have access to an Azure subscription and an Azure DevOps organisation before the training. Azure DevOps has a free tier at dev.azure.com. Confirm with us whether a shared training environment is provided.

Will this training prepare me for a Microsoft certification?

This is a practical skills course, not certification exam preparation. It builds real, hands-on Azure DevOps capability that supports your day-to-day work and gives you a strong foundation if you later pursue a Microsoft credential independently.

Course Content

What topics does the Azure DevOps course cover?

The course covers DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, Azure Repos and CI with Azure Pipelines, continuous delivery, Azure Boards and infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, and DevSecOps, Azure Test Plans and monitoring.

What will I be able to do after the training?

You will be able to manage repositories with branch policies, write YAML CI/CD pipelines, deploy to App Service or AKS, provision infrastructure with Bicep, set up Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and integrate security scanning into your pipeline.

Which Azure DevOps services are included?

All five services are covered: Azure Repos for source control, Azure Pipelines for CI/CD, Azure Boards for agile planning, Azure Artifacts for package management and Azure Test Plans for test management, plus ACR, AKS, Azure Monitor and Defender for DevOps.

Is the course hands-on or lecture-based?

It is hands-on. The instructor demonstrates each service while you follow along in the Azure portal and CLI, building pipelines, infrastructure templates and monitoring dashboards using realistic DevOps scenarios throughout the day.

Can a beginner to DevOps take this course?

Yes. There are no formal prerequisites, and the course introduces DevOps principles and every Azure DevOps service from the ground up. Some basic development or operations familiarity helps, but it is not required.
