Practical DMAIC and Lean Foundations
Skills covered in the Lean Six Sigma Yellow Belt training span the three DMAIC phases covered at Yellow Belt level (Define, Measure, and Control) at a foundational, awareness level, plus the core Lean tools. By the end, you can support improvement projects, spot waste and help teams reduce defects and cycle time.
In this programme you will learn to frame improvement problems the Yellow Belt way: capture the voice of the customer, identify critical-to-quality characteristics, build a simple project charter, and use the Y equals f(x) problem-solving logic to set up a project for success.
Map processes with SIPOC and process maps, and work with foundational Six Sigma metrics such as DPU, DPMO, FTY and cycle time. You gain the basic measurement awareness needed to describe how a process actually performs.
Use cause-and-effect and fishbone diagrams, Pareto analysis and basic statistical thinking to explore where defects and delays come from. You learn to read patterns of variation at an awareness level that supports the wider team.
Put Lean to work with 5S, value stream mapping, Kanban and Poka-Yoke, and recognise the seven elements of waste. These are the practical tools that keep service operations lean and consistent.
Understand how teams pilot and implement improvements, then hold the gains with control plans and an introduction to statistical process control. You learn how the Control phase prevents a fixed process from drifting back.
Learn the Six Sigma roles and responsibilities and how a Yellow Belt supports Green and Black Belts on the ground. You finish ready to be a productive, informed member of any DMAIC project team.

"Victor was a great trainer and was appreciative of all of the real life scenarios he tied to the lessons"
"In terms of content, all good. But poor time management. Time expected for breaks was never compliant (ie. if teacher said he was taking 10 mins break, it ended up being 20. For 50 mins break, teacher was showing up AT least 10-15 mins late...) Also, during second day I asked one question about a test and teacher seem disappointed for me to ask and gave me a whole speech of me not retaining all information while reading (after hours of exhausted training) also letting me know people who does not focus tend to have Low IQ... Also, having to spend time just waiting for teacher to end notes that I guess it should have been ready already for the lesson (at least, if the teacher is expecting for the alum to memorize and know everything at once) "
"good experince with this training, and make make new knowledge about solving problem"
"Interactive training, hands-on knowledge and great use of visual tools!"
