No external body awards a credential for this training. You gain practical Azure DevOps skills and a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning that recognises you completed the programme.

Does this course prepare me for a Microsoft certification?

The course focuses on practical DevOps skills on Azure rather than exam preparation. The concepts and tools you learn are useful background, but this programme does not itself lead to a Microsoft certification exam.

How long is the Azure DevOps training?

The programme runs for one day of about eight hours, or two half-day sessions, covering all six modules with hands-on Azure exercises throughout.

What topics does the Azure DevOps course cover?

The course covers DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, Azure Repos and Azure Pipelines, multi-stage CI/CD, Azure Boards and infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, plus DevSecOps, testing and monitoring.

Which Azure tools will I learn to use?

You work with Azure Repos, Azure Pipelines, Azure Boards, Azure Artifacts and Azure Test Plans, plus ARM templates, Bicep, Azure Container Registry, Azure Kubernetes Service, Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Is the course hands-on?

Yes. Hands-on Azure exercises run throughout, including creating a repository with branch policies, writing a YAML pipeline, deploying to Azure App Service or AKS, writing a Bicep template and setting up monitoring and alerts.

Can a complete beginner take this course?

Yes. There are no formal prerequisites, and the course introduces each Azure DevOps service from the ground up. Basic development or operations familiarity helps you get the most from the sessions but is not essential.

Do I need an Azure account before attending?

You should have access to an Azure subscription and an Azure DevOps organisation, with a free tier available at dev.azure.com. Confirm whether a shared training environment is provided when you enrol.
