Why Change Management Skills Are in Demand Across Serbia

    EU-Accession Reform Pressure

As Serbia aligns its financial, administrative and regulatory systems with EU frameworks in 2026, public bodies and regulated firms need people who can plan and land large-scale change, not just draft policy.

    Certification builds structured change-delivery skills

    Banking Consolidation and Restructuring

With bank restructuring, SEPA integration and mergers reshaping Serbia's mostly foreign-owned banking sector, employers need change managers who can carry staff and customers through disruption.

Certification builds stakeholder and adoption skills

    Digital Transformation Adoption Gap

Serbia's ICT boom and Industry 4.0 push new systems into organisations faster than teams adopt them. Change practitioners close the gap between go-live and real behaviour change.

    Certification builds resistance-management skills

    State-Owned Enterprise Transformation

Dozens of state-owned enterprises are being converted into joint-stock and limited-liability companies, demanding culture change, new governance and disciplined change management at scale.

    Certification builds organisational-change skills

    Change Talent Scarcity

Serbia's talent pool is deep in project managers but thin in credentialed change practitioners. A recognised Foundation and Practitioner qualification makes holders visibly rare and hireable.

Certification makes change professionals stand out

    Transformation Failure Risk

Most transformation programmes underdeliver on the people side. Employers increasingly hire certified change managers who apply ADKAR, Kotter and impact assessment to protect the return on major investments.

Certification builds proven change models and practice

Both are grounded in the CMBoK and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

Foundation validates knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. Both are grounded in the CMBoK and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

Yes. As Serbia's banks consolidate, state-owned enterprises restructure and ICT firms scale, employers increasingly hire people who can lead adoption and reduce resistance. Certified change roles such as change manager, organisational development lead and transformation manager sit well above the national average pay, making the credential a strong career investment.

It suits change managers, HR business partners, project and programme managers, organisational development practitioners, consultants and senior leaders who sponsor change. No prior change management experience is needed to start at Foundation level.

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to everyone. The Practitioner level requires the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, before you sit the exam. The combined programme takes you through both levels in sequence.

Yes. It is recognised in over 150 countries and is especially respected across the UK, Europe and other markets where change management is an established profession, which makes it a portable credential as Serbia continues its EU-accession path.

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. Both are grounded in the CMBoK and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

Is the Change Management certification worth it for professionals in Serbia?

Who should take this Change Management course?

It suits change managers, HR business partners, project and programme managers, organisational development practitioners, consultants and senior leaders who sponsor change. No prior change management experience is needed to start at Foundation level.

What are the prerequisites for the Foundation and Practitioner levels?

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to everyone. The Practitioner level requires the Change Management Foundation certification, or an accepted equivalent, before you sit the exam. The combined programme takes you through both levels in sequence.

Is the Change Management qualification recognised in Serbia and the EU?

Yes. It is recognised in over 150 countries and is especially respected across the UK, Europe and other markets where change management is an established profession, which makes it a portable credential as Serbia continues its EU-accession path.

    Pricing

What is included in the Change Management course fee?

The fee typically includes instructor-led training across both levels, courseware aligned to the CMBoK and Practitioner Guide, case studies, practice questions and mock exams, and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion can vary, so request a quote to confirm what applies to your enrolment.

How much does Change Management training cost in Serbia?

Pricing varies by delivery format and whether you enrol as an individual or a group, so exact fees are available on request. Contact a learning advisor for current pricing and any batch offers for Serbia.

Is the exam fee included in the training price?

Exam-fee inclusion depends on the package you choose. Some options bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price them separately. Ask us to confirm inclusions before you enrol.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for HR functions, PMOs and transformation teams. Contact us for a tailored quote for your organisation.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you best.

    Exam

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can resit the exam you did not pass. Our training focuses on first-attempt readiness through structured preparation and full mock exams, and selected plans include a retake option. Ask about the resit policy that applies to your enrolment.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice, single-answer questions and a 40-minute duration. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation part of the programme.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book and scenario-based, with 5 sections each worth 16 marks, giving 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks, and the Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted.

What is the passing score for each exam?

Both exams require 50% to pass. That is 25 out of 50 questions for Foundation and 40 out of 80 marks for Practitioner. You must sit and pass both exams to hold both credentials.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential.

    Course Content

Can a beginner take this course without prior change experience?

Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and starts from first principles, so beginners are welcome. The trainer builds your knowledge before you move into the applied Practitioner content, with practice and support throughout.

What topics does the Change Management syllabus cover?

The syllabus covers five topic areas: change and the individual, change and the organisation, communication and stakeholder engagement, change practice, and personal and professional management. Foundation builds knowledge, and Practitioner applies each area to real scenarios.

Which change management models will I learn?

You will learn a broad range of models, including ADKAR, Bridges' Transition Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Kotter's 8-Step Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's model of culture, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

    What learning resources are included?

You receive courseware aligned to the CMBoK and the Practitioner Guide, industry case studies, practice questions, full mock exams and quizzes, plus guidance on open-book exam technique for the Practitioner level.

How long is the training and in what format?

The combined programme runs as a 40-hour course, typically over five full days, with Foundation covered first and Practitioner second. It is delivered as live virtual, classroom or corporate training, so you can choose the format that fits your schedule.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol online and join an upcoming live virtual or classroom batch, with new schedules opening regularly for Serbia. Choose your format, complete enrolment, and you will receive access to schedules and courseware. Talk to a learning advisor to find the next batch.

What training formats are available in Serbia?
