    You will learn to identify and eliminate the eight wastes summarised by DOWNTIME: Defects, Overproduction, Waiting, Non-utilised talent, Transportation, Inventory, Motion and Extra processing. You will also cover Mura and Muri, and practise spotting waste through structured Gemba observation.

    Are there hands-on exercises in the training?

    Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout the day, including a waste identification walk, value stream data collection and timeline, a 5S workplace assessment, an OEE calculation, Kanban quantity sizing and standard work observation, all applied to realistic manufacturing scenarios.
