Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real scenarios. It is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level qualification covering the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts and models, while Practitioner proves you can apply them to real scenarios. It is grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK).

Is the Change Management certification worth it for professionals in Austria?

Yes. Austrian employers in banking, energy, telecoms and consulting are investing heavily in transformation and need people who can make change stick. The credential gives you recognised, transferable skills and opens roles from change analyst to change manager and transformation lead.

Who should take this Change Management course?

It suits project managers, HR business partners, organisational development practitioners, consultants and aspiring change managers. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so professionals at any stage who lead or support change can benefit.

Which change management models does the course cover?

The syllabus covers a broad set of models including ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, Bridges' Transition Model, McKinsey 7-S, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

    Is the qualification recognised internationally?

Yes. It is recognised in over 150 countries and is well respected across the UK, Europe and Austria, where organisational change management is an established professional discipline.

    Pricing

How much does Change Management certification training cost in Austria?

Fees vary by format and schedule, so pricing is available on request. Your fee typically covers instructor-led training, courseware, mock exams and exam guidance. Request a quote for current Austria pricing.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee generally includes live instructor-led training across both levels, aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams, practice questions and guidance to prepare for both certification exams. Contact us to confirm what your chosen batch includes.

Are the Foundation and Practitioner exam fees included?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package and region. Some bundles include both exam vouchers, while others are quoted separately. Ask a learning advisor to confirm the current inclusions for Austria.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, PMOs and business units across Austria. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major cards and bank transfers, and instalment options are available on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 40 minutes. It is closed book with single-answer questions, and the pass mark is 50 percent, meaning 25 out of 50 correct. There are no prerequisites to sit it.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide. It has five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50 percent, that is 40 out of 80 marks.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. Change Management Foundation, or an accepted equivalent, is required before you sit the Practitioner exam. The combined programme prepares you for both, with Foundation covered first and Practitioner second.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first try?

You can resit. Retake policies and any fees vary by channel, and our trainers provide preparation guidance, mock exams and practice questions to help you approach both exams with confidence. Ask us about retake support.

Which standard are the exams based on?

Both exams are aligned to the current Change Management Foundation and Practitioner exam syllabi and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide as the primary reference.

    Course Content

What will I learn in this Change Management course?

You will learn to guide individuals through change, lead organisational change, engage stakeholders, plan and deliver change interventions, and manage yourself as a practitioner. The course spans the five syllabus areas at Foundation and Practitioner depth.

What are the five topic areas covered?

The five areas are Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level and Practitioner at applied level.

Do I need prior experience to join?

No prior change management experience is required for Foundation, so beginners are welcome. Practitioner builds on Foundation, and our trainers support you throughout with practical examples, case studies and exam practice.

How long is the training and how is it delivered?

The combined programme runs to about 40 hours of training, delivered as online live virtual instructor-led sessions, classroom, or customised corporate group training, so you can pick the format that fits your schedule.

What materials and practice are included?

You receive aligned courseware, industry case studies, mock exams and practice questions for both levels, plus open-book technique practice for the Practitioner exam, helping you connect the models to real workplace scenarios.

    Enrollment

How soon can I start and how do I enrol?

You can enrol online through the Invensis Learning website in a few steps. Choose your preferred format and batch, complete payment, and you receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to an advisor to begin.

What training formats are available in Austria?

We offer online live virtual instructor-led training, classroom sessions, and customised corporate group training across Austria, so you can learn in the format that best fits your schedule and goals.

Are there weekend or weekday batches?

Yes. We run both weekday and weekend batches to suit working professionals. Check the current schedule or ask a learning advisor about the next available cohort in your time zone.

Can I reschedule or transfer my enrolment?

Yes. You can reschedule or transfer to another batch, and selected plans include a retake or attend-again option. Contact support to arrange this before your batch begins.

What is the refund or cancellation policy?

Refunds and cancellations follow our published policy, and selected plans include a money-back option. Reach out to our team for the details that apply to your enrolment.
