What is the format of the EXIN DevOps Master exam?

The exam is closed book with single-answer multiple-choice questions, based on the current EXIN DevOps Master Examination Specification. It can be taken online with EXIN proctoring or at an accredited testing location.

How many questions are on the DevOps Master exam and how long is it?

The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and lasts 90 minutes (1.5 hours). It is a closed-book exam delivered online proctored or at an EXIN accredited test location.

What is the passing score for the EXIN DevOps Master exam?

The pass mark is 65%, so you must answer at least 26 of the 40 questions correctly. Preparing broadly across all six topic areas is the best way to pass.

Do I need EXIN DevOps Foundation before Master?

Yes. You will study the four DORA metrics: Deployment Frequency, Lead Time for Changes, Change Failure Rate and Mean Time to Restore, along with flow metrics and SLIs, SLOs and error budgets.
