What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, lasts 60 minutes and is closed book. The pass mark is 60 per cent, meaning 24 out of 40 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of PRINCE2 Agile.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions, lasts 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 Agile publication permitted. The pass mark is 60 per cent, meaning 30 out of 50 correct. It tests your ability to apply and tailor PRINCE2 Agile.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate PeopleCert exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. The four-day combined programme covers Foundation content first, then Practitioner.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

Open book means you may use the PRINCE2 Agile publication during the Practitioner exam. However, the scenario-based questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the publication and solid method knowledge are both needed.
