Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is typically taken at the end of the Foundation part of the programme.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide. It has five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You must pass both the Foundation and the Practitioner exams to hold both credentials. Foundation is taken first, then Practitioner.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgment, so you still need deep method knowledge and efficient navigation of the guide; you cannot simply look up answers.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the exam. Our trainers provide preparation guidance, practice questions and mock exams to support a first-attempt pass, and we can advise on the resit process. Ask about our retake support.

How are the exams delivered in Chile?

Exams are delivered via online proctoring or at an authorised test centre, and are typically scheduled at the end of each part of the training.
