Assessment

Is there an exam at the end of the course?

No. This is a practical, non-certification course, so there is no exam. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the day, and you receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning on completion.

How is my learning assessed during the training?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each concept through practical exercises in the Azure DevOps portal and CLI, such as building a pipeline, deploying to AKS and setting up monitoring, so you leave able to do the work, not just describe it.

Will I be able to apply these skills at work?

Yes. The course is built around realistic scenarios, so by the end you can create repositories with branch policies, write YAML pipelines, deploy with Bicep, and configure alerts. These are everyday tasks for cloud and DevOps roles in Cyprus.

The syllabus covers DevOps foundations, source control with Azure Repos, CI with Azure Pipelines, continuous delivery and release pipelines, agile planning with Azure Boards, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, monitoring, and DevSecOps.

How long is the training and what is the format?

The programme runs for one day of eight hours, or across two half-days, with hands-on Azure exercises throughout. It is available in live virtual, classroom and corporate onsite formats, including online (live virtual) instructor-led sessions.

Are there hands-on labs and practice exercises?

Yes. You follow along in the Azure DevOps portal and CLI, building a repository with branch policies, a YAML CI pipeline, a deployment to App Service or AKS, a Bicep deployment, and Azure Monitor alerts, so learning is practical throughout.
