What will I learn in the JIRA course?

Can a complete beginner take this course?

Yes. The Fundamentals level has no prerequisites and is designed for people who are new to Jira. Familiarity with basic Agile or project ideas helps but is not required, and every topic is reinforced with hands-on exercises.

What do I need before the Advanced level?

You should have completed the Fundamentals level or have equivalent hands-on Jira experience, plus familiarity with basic project configuration. The Advanced level then builds practitioner skills in workflows, schemes, automation and Jira administration.

Is the training hands-on or theory based?

How long is each level of the course?

How are learners assessed on the course?

There is no formal test or grade. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Jira exercises and configuration activities throughout, so you build and demonstrate practical proficiency during the training itself.

What will I be able to do after Fundamentals?

You will be able to create and configure Jira projects, manage issues across the Epic to Subtask hierarchy, run sprints on the Scrum board, use Kanban boards with WIP limits, plan releases, write basic JQL, and interpret velocity, burndown and cumulative flow reports.

What will I be able to do after Advanced?

You will be able to design custom workflows with conditions, validators and post-functions, configure permission, notification and screen schemes, create custom fields and automation rules, build management dashboards, and integrate Jira with Confluence, Bitbucket, GitHub and CI/CD tools.

Do I receive proof of completion?
