Do I receive a certificate after the training?

Yes. On completing the one-day programme you receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. No external credential or awarding body is involved, as this is a practical skills course.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each concept through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises, such as building a pipeline, deploying a Bicep template and setting up monitoring, so learning is reinforced by practice.

Will I get hands-on practice during the training?

Yes. Hands-on exercises run throughout, using the live Azure DevOps portal and Azure CLI. You configure repositories, pipelines, infrastructure as code, container deployments and monitoring as the trainer demonstrates each step.

What will I be able to do after completing the training?

You will be able to create Git repositories with branch policies, write YAML CI/CD pipelines, deploy to Azure App Service or AKS, provision infrastructure with Bicep, set up Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and integrate security scanning into the pipeline.

Course Content

What will I learn in the Azure DevOps course?

You will learn to build, deploy, secure and monitor software on Microsoft Azure using the Azure DevOps toolchain, covering source control, CI/CD, agile planning, infrastructure as code, containers, monitoring and DevSecOps across six modules.

Does the course cover CI/CD pipelines in depth?

Yes. A large part of the course focuses on Azure Pipelines, including YAML pipelines, build and test stages, multi-stage deployments, approval gates and deployment strategies such as canary and blue-green releases.

Are infrastructure as code and containers included?

Yes. You will provision Azure infrastructure with ARM templates and Bicep, and build, store and deploy containers using Azure Container Registry and Azure Kubernetes Service with Helm and pipeline tasks.

Is security and DevSecOps covered?

Yes. The course covers shifting security left with Microsoft Defender for DevOps, secret and dependency scanning, Azure Key Vault integration and branch policies, so security is built into the pipeline.

What learning materials are provided?

You receive structured courseware covering all six modules, hands-on exercise guides for the Azure DevOps portal and CLI, and reference material you can apply to real projects. Materials support your learning during and after the training.
