    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to complete in 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 36 out of 60 correct. There are no prerequisites to sit it.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, to complete in 150 minutes. It is open book with the PRINCE2 manual permitted, scenario-based, and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 42 out of 70 marks.

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    There are two separate PeopleCert exams. You sit the Foundation exam first, then the Practitioner exam, and you must pass both to hold both credentials. The combined training prepares you for each.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may refer to the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual during the Practitioner exam. The questions test application and judgement rather than recall, so knowing how to navigate the manual quickly matters more than looking up facts.

    What are the prerequisites for the PRINCE2 exams?
