    The PRINCE2 certification path in Madrid is straightforward. You complete the accredited 35 contact hours, sit the Foundation exam, then progress to Practitioner.     Step 1: Eligibility Check

    The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions to be completed in 60 minutes. It is closed book and single-answer, and the pass mark is 60 percent, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, over 150 minutes. It is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted, and scenario-based. The pass mark is 60 percent, which is 42 out of 70 marks, and it tests application and tailoring.

    Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

    Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation is the prerequisite for the Practitioner exam. In the combined programme you sit and pass Foundation first, then Practitioner. Accepted equivalents for Practitioner entry include PMP, CAPM and IPMA levels; verify current equivalents at peoplecert.org.
