What topics does the training cover?

The course covers DevOps principles on AWS, source control and CI with CodeCommit and CodeBuild, continuous delivery with CodeDeploy and CodePipeline, infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and the CDK, containers with ECS and EKS, and monitoring and DevSecOps with CloudWatch.

Which AWS services will I learn to use?

You work with AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline, CloudFormation and the AWS CDK, Amazon ECR, ECS and EKS, Amazon CloudWatch, and AWS IAM for DevSecOps, all as part of an automated delivery pipeline.

Are there hands-on exercises during the training?

Yes. Hands-on AWS Console and CLI exercises run throughout, including building a pipeline, writing a CloudFormation template and deploying a containerised application, so you learn by doing rather than watching.

How long is the AWS DevOps training?

The programme is delivered in one day of about eight hours, covering all six modules with concept explanations and hands-on exercises. A half-day format across two days is also available to fit working schedules.
