Skills You Will Build on AWSHands-On from Day One

This AWS DevOps programme gives you practical, job-ready capability across the full delivery lifecycle on Amazon Web Services. By the end of the one-day, hands-on course you can design a pipeline, automate infrastructure, deploy containers and monitor live systems with confidence.

    Build CI/CD Pipelines on AWS

The skills covered in this AWS DevOps course start with continuous delivery: design and run end-to-end CI/CD pipelines using AWS CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and CodePipeline, including in-place and blue/green deployments with automated approval gates.

    Automate Infrastructure as Code

Provision and manage AWS infrastructure with CloudFormation templates, stacks and change sets, and define infrastructure in familiar programming languages using the AWS CDK, so environments are repeatable, version-controlled and consistent.

    Deploy and Run Containers

Build Docker images, store them in Amazon ECR, and deploy containerised applications to Amazon ECS and Amazon EKS, including Fargate, service auto-scaling and rolling or blue/green updates through the pipeline.

    Monitor and Measure Delivery

Use Amazon CloudWatch metrics, logs, alarms and dashboards, plus AWS X-Ray tracing, to gain operational visibility, and track the four DORA metrics to measure and improve deployment frequency, lead time, change failure rate and recovery time.

    Embed Security with DevSecOps

Shift security left by integrating scanning into the build stage, applying IAM least-privilege roles, and managing credentials with AWS Secrets Manager and Parameter Store, so pipelines stay secure by default.

    Apply DevOps Culture and Practices

Put the CALMS framework and The Three Ways of DevOps into practice, adopt blameless post-mortems and continuous improvement, and connect development and operations into effective cross-functional teams on AWS.
