Is this a Microsoft certification?

No. The course builds practical skills on the Microsoft Azure DevOps platform but does not lead to a Microsoft certification or any formal credential. It focuses on job-ready capability you can apply immediately.

How is my progress checked during the course?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each Azure DevOps service through guided, hands-on labs, such as building a pipeline, writing a Bicep template and setting up monitoring, so you practise the skills as you learn them.

Will this training help me work towards a formal credential later?

Yes. The practical foundation in Azure Pipelines, Repos, Boards, IaC and AKS gives you real experience that supports further DevOps or cloud learning, though this specific course does not include an exam.

What topics does the Azure DevOps training cover?

The course spans DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, source control and CI with Azure Repos and Pipelines, continuous delivery, agile planning with Azure Boards, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, monitoring, and DevSecOps.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You will be able to build YAML CI/CD pipelines, manage Git repositories with branch policies, deploy to Azure App Service or AKS, write and deploy Bicep templates, set up Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and integrate security scanning into your pipeline.

Does the course include hands-on labs?

Yes. Practical Azure DevOps exercises run throughout, from creating a repository with branch policies to writing a pipeline, deploying a container and configuring alerts, so you learn by doing on the live platform.

How long is the Azure DevOps training?

The programme runs for one day (eight hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations and hands-on Azure exercises. It can also be delivered as two half-days. There is no exam on completion.

Can a beginner follow the course?
