Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

    General

What is the EXIN BCS Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level business analysis credential from EXIN, developed in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. Foundation validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, while Practitioner validates the ability to apply them in real project scenarios. Both are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis certification in Croatia?

It suits aspiring analysts, IT professionals moving into a BA role, project managers, product owners and practising analysts formalising their knowledge. There are no formal prerequisites for Foundation, so beginners and experienced professionals in Croatia can both start here.

Is business analysis a good career in Croatia in 2026?

Yes. ICT is among Croatia's fastest-growing and highest-paying sectors, and banks, fintechs and shared-service centres are expanding analysis and data teams. With a deep developer pool but few certified analysts, credentialed professionals stand out to employers.

Which standard is the certification based on?

Both levels are aligned to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge (BCS BoK) and delivered against the current EXIN BCS Examination Specifications. The credentials are developed and quality-assured by BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT.

How long is the certification valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certificates are awarded for life. Neither expires, and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing-education requirement to keep them.

    Pricing

How much does business analysis certification training cost in Croatia?

Fees vary by delivery format and schedule, so pricing is available on request. Instructor-led and corporate options are quoted separately from the EXIN exam vouchers. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current options for Croatia.

What is included in the course fee?

Training typically includes EXIN-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both the Foundation and Practitioner levels, plus learner support and a course completion certificate. Confirm exam-voucher inclusion when you enquire.

Are the EXIN exam fees included in the training price?

Exam vouchers may be bundled or purchased separately depending on the package. EXIN pricing varies by region and channel, so confirm the current inclusion and fees when you request a quote.

Do you offer corporate or group discounts in Croatia?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams in banking, fintech, IT services and shared-service centres. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation and Practitioner exams?

Both exams are closed book. The Foundation exam uses single-answer multiple-choice questions, while the Practitioner exam is scenario-based, presenting realistic project situations that require you to apply business analysis techniques.

How many questions are on each exam and what is the pass mark?

Each exam has 40 questions and lasts 60 minutes. The passing score is 65% for both, meaning 26 correct answers out of 40. You must pass both exams to hold both credentials.

Where can I sit the EXIN BCS exams in Croatia?

You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are typically arranged through your accredited training provider as part of the combined programme.

Do I need to pass Foundation before Practitioner?

Foundation has no formal prerequisites, and the EXIN BCS Foundation Certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner level. The combined programme covers Foundation first, then Practitioner, so you progress in the intended order.

What happens if I do not pass an exam?

You can re-sit the exam under EXIN's re-examination policy. Our trainers provide targeted guidance and practice so you can focus on weaker topics before a retake. Re-sit fees and terms are confirmed with EXIN and your provider.

    Course Content

What topics does the Foundation level cover?

Foundation covers 14 topic areas, including what business analysis is, strategy analysis, investigation techniques, stakeholder management, process and requirements modelling, defining the solution, and making a business and financial case.

What does the Practitioner level add?

Practitioner focuses on applying techniques across seven scenario-based areas, from understanding the strategic context and current situation to stakeholder analysis, modelling business activities, identifying solutions and building the business case.

Can a beginner with no BA experience take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no formal prerequisites and starts from core concepts, so beginners are welcome. Trainer support, practical examples and practice questions help newcomers build confidence before both exams.

Is the courseware aligned to the latest EXIN BCS specifications?

Yes. The materials are aligned to the current EXIN BCS Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner Examination Specifications and to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

What learning materials and practice are included?

You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, plus modelling and requirements exercises to connect the techniques to real project work.
