    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation covers change concepts and models, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios. It is aligned to the Change Management Institute's CMBoK.

Who should take this change management course in Hungary?

It suits project and programme managers, HR business partners, organisational development practitioners, consultants and leaders who drive or support change. In Hungary, it is especially valuable for professionals in business services centres, banking, telecoms and manufacturing transformation.

Is the certification recognised in Hungary?

Yes. It is an internationally respected credential valued by employers across Hungary and worldwide, including business services centres, banks, telecoms and consulting firms that run large change and transformation programmes.

Is the change management certification worth it?

Yes. Change managers in Hungary earn around Ft14M on average, with senior change and transformation roles reaching much higher, according to SalaryExpert and Hays 2026 data. With 80% of business services centres planning to expand, certified change professionals are in strong demand. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your route.

Do I need Foundation before Practitioner?

Yes. Foundation must be passed before you can take Practitioner. This combined programme covers both levels in sequence, so you build the concepts first and then learn to apply them to scenarios before sitting each exam.

    Pricing

How much does the change management course cost in Hungary?

The training fee covers instructor-led sessions, CMBoK-aligned courseware, case studies, mock exams and learner support. Fees vary by delivery format and are available on request. Request a quote and a learning advisor will share current pricing for your chosen format.

What is included in the course fee?

The fee typically includes Change Management Foundation and Practitioner aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams, first-attempt guidance and post-training support. Confirm the exact inclusions for your selected plan when you enrol.

Are the exam fees included in the training price?

Exam voucher inclusion varies by package. The Foundation and Practitioner exam fees may be billed separately depending on the plan you choose. Ask a learning advisor to confirm what is included in your enrolment before you book.

Do you offer group or corporate discounts?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for teams, HR functions, PMOs and transformation offices. Contact us for a tailored group quote for your organisation in Hungary.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the payment option that suits you.

    Exam

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

There are two separate exams. You must pass both the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam to hold both credentials. The combined 40-hour programme prepares you for each in turn.

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is closed book with 50 multiple-choice questions to complete in 40 minutes. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 correct answers out of 50. There are no formal prerequisites to sit it.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book and scenario based. It has 5 sections each worth 16 marks, for 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks. The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted.

What are the passing scores for both exams?

Both exams require 50% to pass. For Foundation that means 25 out of 50 questions correct. For Practitioner that means 40 out of 80 marks across the five scenario-based sections.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

The Change Management Practitioner Guide is permitted during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Both efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge are essential, and our training builds both.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can retake the exam. Our training includes mock exams, scenario practice and first-attempt guidance to prepare you thoroughly. Ask a learning advisor about retake support and any Flexi options available with your plan.

    Course Content

What topics does the change management training cover?

The training covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organization, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at awareness level and Practitioner at application level.

Which change management models are covered?

You study a broad range of models including ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Bridges' Transition Model, Schein's culture model, Goleman's emotional intelligence and Cialdini's principles of influence.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and is open to all, so beginners are welcome. The programme builds from core concepts to applied practice, with trainer support and case studies, so you do not need prior change management experience to start.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive Change Management Foundation and Practitioner aligned courseware, industry case studies, practice questions and mock exams for both levels, all aligned to the CMBoK and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide.

    How long is the training?

The combined programme is delivered as 40 hours of instructor-led training. The number of days depends on the schedule format, from an intensive full-day pattern to extended half-day sessions, so you can choose what fits your availability.

    Enrollment

What are the eligibility requirements to enrol?

Anyone can enrol in the training. Foundation has no formal prerequisites, and Foundation certification is required before you sit the Practitioner exam. This combined programme takes you through both levels in one route.

How do I enrol in the change management course?

You can enrol through the Invensis Learning website. Choose your preferred format, complete payment, and you will receive access to schedules, courseware and learning resources. See upcoming batches or talk to a learning advisor to get started.
