    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Foundation exam?

    The Foundation exam has 40 multiple-choice questions with a single answer each, lasts 60 minutes, and is closed book. The pass mark is 60 percent, meaning 24 of 40 correct. It tests your comprehension of the hybrid method.

    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Agile Practitioner exam?

    The Practitioner exam has 50 scenario-based questions, lasts 150 minutes, and is open book, meaning the PRINCE2 Agile publication is permitted. The pass mark is 60 percent, or 30 of 50 correct. It tests your ability to apply and tailor the method.

    How and where can I sit the exams?

    Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online through the OnVUE proctored system, available around the clock, or at an authorised test centre. You can sit them from home or office in Hungary once you are prepared.

    What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

    You can retake either exam. Re-sit policies and fees are set by PeopleCert, and our training includes practice questions and mock preparation to help you pass with confidence. Ask your advisor about retake support options.

    Which standard are the exams based on?

    Both exams are based on the current PRINCE2 Agile syllabus and publication, governed by AXELOS and examined by PeopleCert. The method aligns PRINCE2 governance with agile delivery approaches including Scrum, Kanban and Lean Startup.

    Course Content

    What topics does the training cover?

    The programme covers all nine Foundation topics, from the agile mindset to value-driven thinking, and all nine applied Practitioner topics, from tailoring PRINCE2 Agile to governing with flexibility. It also covers Scrum, Kanban, Lean Startup, MoSCoW, timeboxing and burn charts.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. The Foundation level has no prerequisites and starts from first principles, so professionals new to PRINCE2 Agile can follow it. Prior familiarity with Scrum or PRINCE2 is helpful but not required, and the training builds your knowledge step by step.

    How is the combined programme structured?

    The combined programme runs over four days, typically covering Foundation content first, then Practitioner application, for around 32 hours of training in total. Foundation days build comprehension, while Practitioner days focus on tailoring and scenario practice.

    What learning resources are provided?

    You receive accredited courseware, practice questions, scenario-based exercises and mock preparation for both exams, plus guidance on efficient use of the PRINCE2 Agile publication for the open-book Practitioner exam.
