    What topics are covered in the Lean Manufacturing course?

    The course covers the Toyota Production System and the five Lean principles, the eight wastes (DOWNTIME), value stream mapping, 5S and visual management, pull systems and kanban, Just-in-Time, TPM and OEE, standard work, SMED, Heijunka, Poka Yoke and building a Kaizen culture.

    What will I be able to do after the training?

    You will be able to identify and classify the eight wastes, read and build a value stream map, run a 5S programme, design a kanban pull system, calculate OEE, write standard work and lead Kaizen improvements in your own manufacturing environment.

    Are there hands-on exercises in the course?

    Yes. The programme runs practical exercises throughout, including Gemba-based waste identification, value stream data collection, a 5S workplace assessment, OEE calculation and kanban quantity design, so you practise every tool as you learn it.

    How long is the Lean Manufacturing training?

    The course is delivered in one day of eight hours, and can also be run as two half-day sessions of four hours each. It covers all six Lean modules with concept explanations, case studies and hands-on exercises.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive structured courseware, reference guides, Lean templates and case study examples that support the exercises and give you tools to reuse back at work. Materials are designed for practical shop-floor application.
