Assessment

Is there an exam for this Azure DevOps course?

No. This is a non-certification course with no exam. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the one-day programme, so you build skills by doing rather than by sitting a test.

Do I receive anything on completing the training?

Yes. On completing the programme you receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. It recognises that you have finished the training and built practical Azure DevOps skills you can apply immediately at work.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply each service through practical exercises, such as configuring a repository, writing a YAML pipeline, deploying a Bicep template and setting up monitoring, so you can confirm your skills in real scenarios.

Will this training prepare me for a Microsoft exam?

The course focuses on practical, on-the-job Azure DevOps skills rather than exam preparation. The hands-on grounding it gives you is a strong foundation if you later choose to pursue a Microsoft Azure credential independently.

Yes. You learn to design YAML pipelines with triggers, stages, jobs and tasks, build multi-stage CI/CD, add approval and quality gates, and deploy to Azure App Service, Azure Functions and AKS using rolling, canary and blue-green strategies.

Is infrastructure as code included?

Yes. The programme covers ARM templates and Bicep, including template structure, deployment modes, what-if previews and modules, and how to deploy your infrastructure directly from Azure Pipelines for repeatable, versioned environments.
