    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    Two. The Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials, and the 40-hour programme prepares you for each.

    What is the format of the Foundation exam?

    50 multiple-choice questions in 40 minutes, closed book, single-answer format. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is delivered by online proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

    Five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. It is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

    What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

    You may use the Practitioner Guide during the exam, but the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look answers up. Efficient guide navigation and deep method knowledge both matter.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    You can resit the exam. Resit policies and any fees vary, so confirm the current terms when you enrol. Our mock exams and exam-technique coaching are designed to help you pass both exams on the first attempt.
