    What is the format of the EXIN BCS Business Analysis exams?

    There are two closed-book exams. The Foundation exam has 40 single-answer multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes. The Practitioner exam has 40 scenario-based multiple-choice questions in 60 minutes, each set in a realistic project situation.

    How many exams are in the combined programme?

    Two separate exams. You sit and pass the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam individually to hold both credentials. The combined training prepares you for both, with the Foundation covered first and the Practitioner second.

    What is the passing score for the exams?

    The passing score is 65% for both exams, which is 26 out of 40 questions correct. The same threshold applies to the Foundation and Practitioner exams.

    How is the Foundation exam different from the Practitioner exam?

    Foundation tests knowledge and comprehension of business analysis concepts across 14 topic areas using single-answer questions. Practitioner tests application and analysis across 7 topic areas using scenario-based questions. Both are 40 questions in 60 minutes.

    Where can I take the exams?

    You can take both exams online through EXIN's online proctored system or at an EXIN accredited testing location. Exams are usually arranged through the accredited training provider as part of the combined package.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?
