    General

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a globally recognised, two-level credential covering the knowledge, models and practices needed to manage the people side of organisational change. Foundation validates your understanding of change concepts, while Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real change scenarios.

Is the Change Management certification worth it for professionals in Oman?

Yes. As Oman delivers Vision 2040 reforms and digital transformation, employers across energy, banking, telecoms and government increasingly value people who can lead change. The credential positions you for change manager, transformation lead and OD roles. Talk to a learning advisor to plan your path.

    Who should take this course?

It suits change managers, project and programme managers, HR business partners, OD practitioners, consultants and leaders who sponsor or support organisational change. There are no formal prerequisites for the Foundation level, so it is open to all.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. The Change Management qualification is recognised across many countries and is well respected wherever organisational change is a professional discipline, so your credential travels with you across sectors and markets.

What standard is the course based on?

The programme is aligned to the current Change Management Practitioner Guide and the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute. It covers established models such as ADKAR, Kotter, Lewin and Bridges' Transition Model.

    Pricing

How much does the Change Management course cost in Oman?

Fees vary by format (live virtual, classroom or corporate group) and the inclusions you choose. Training is quoted for the Oman market and exam fees may be billed separately. Request a quote for current pricing and any available offers.

What is included in the course fee?

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions and lasts 40 minutes. It is closed book with single-answer questions, and the pass mark is 50%, that is 25 out of 50 correct.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has five scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. It is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted, and the pass mark is 50%, that is 40 out of 80 marks.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario questions require analysis and judgement, so you still need deep method knowledge and the ability to navigate the guide quickly.

What are the prerequisites for each level?

The Foundation level has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. To sit the Practitioner exam you must first hold the Change Management Foundation certification or an accepted equivalent.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?
