What Is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner Certification?UntitledYour Route to Leading Change

The Change Management Foundation and Practitioner (CM-F&P) certification is a two-level qualification that validates your ability to manage the people and culture side of organisational change, from understanding change theory to applying it in real scenarios. Foundation confirms your knowledge of change management concepts and models; Practitioner proves you can apply them to live organisational change. This Change Management certification training in Panama prepares you for both exams in one structured programme. Grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, the course covers five topic areas: Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. You will work with established models including ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework and Bridges' Transition Model. As Panama's banks, logistics groups and public institutions accelerate digital transformation, professionals who can lead adoption and reduce resistance are in demand across Panama City. Frequently Asked QuestionsHere's everything you may ask...

Yes. As Panama's banks, logistics groups and public institutions accelerate digital transformation, professionals who can lead adoption and reduce resistance are in demand. The Foundation and Practitioner credentials validate that capability and open change, organisational development and transformation roles across Panama City.

    General

Is the Change Management certification worth it in Panama?

Yes. As Panama's banks, logistics groups and public institutions accelerate digital transformation, professionals who can lead adoption and reduce resistance are in demand. The Foundation and Practitioner credentials validate that capability and open change, organisational development and transformation roles across Panama City.

What is the Change Management Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a two-level qualification covering the people and culture side of organisational change. Foundation validates your knowledge of change concepts and models; Practitioner validates your ability to apply them to real scenarios. Both are grounded in the Change Management Body of Knowledge (CMBoK) maintained by the Change Management Institute.

Who should take this change management course?

It suits change managers, organisational development and HR practitioners, project and programme managers, consultants and senior leaders sponsoring change. Anyone responsible for helping people adopt new ways of working in Panama will benefit from the CMBoK approach.

Do I need experience to start with the Foundation level?

No. Change Management Foundation has no formal prerequisites and is open to all, regardless of education or prior change experience. It is designed to build knowledge from first principles before you progress to Practitioner.

Which models and standards does the course cover?

The course is aligned to the CMBoK and the current Change Management Practitioner Guide, and covers models including ADKAR, Kotter's 8-Step Model, Lewin's Three-Step Model, the McKinsey 7-S Framework, Bridges' Transition Model, Schein's culture model and Goleman's emotional intelligence.

    Pricing

What is included in the training fee?

Your fee typically includes CMBoK-aligned courseware for both levels, case studies, practice questions, mock exams and learner support. Exam voucher inclusion varies, so confirm current details when you enquire. Request a quote for the format that suits you.

How much does Change Management certification training cost in Panama?

Pricing depends on the delivery format you choose and whether exam vouchers are bundled. Panama uses the US dollar, so fees are quoted in USD. Talk to a learning advisor for current pricing and any group or corporate rates.

Are the exam fees part of the course price?

Exam fee inclusion depends on the package. Some options bundle the Foundation and Practitioner exam vouchers, while others price training and exams separately. Confirm the current inclusion when you request a quote.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for change teams, PMOs and HR functions in Panama. Ask about corporate pricing for a tailored quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that fits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the Change Management Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice paper with 50 single-answer questions and a 40-minute duration. The pass mark is 50%, which is 25 out of 50 correct. It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation training.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, using the Change Management Practitioner Guide. It has 5 scenario-based sections worth 16 marks each, 80 marks in total, over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50%, which is 40 out of 80 marks.

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

Two separate exams. You must sit and pass both the Foundation and the Practitioner exams to hold both credentials. The 5-day combined programme prepares you for both, with Foundation content first and Practitioner content after.

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgement, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient guide navigation and solid method knowledge are both essential.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

The programme includes structured preparation, mock exams and exam technique to support a first-time pass. If you need to re-sit, verify the current re-sit policy and any fees when you enquire, and use our practice resources to prepare again.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the change management course?

You will learn to guide individuals through change, lead organisational change, engage stakeholders, plan and deliver change practice, and strengthen your own professional practice. The syllabus spans five topic areas at Foundation and Practitioner depth.

What are the five topic areas of the syllabus?

The five areas are Change and the Individual, Change and the Organisation, Communication and Stakeholder Engagement, Change Practice, and Personal and Professional Management. Foundation covers them at knowledge level; Practitioner at application and analysis level.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and starts from the basics, so beginners are welcome. The training builds your knowledge step by step before moving to the applied Practitioner content, with trainer support throughout.

    What learning materials are provided?

You receive CMBoK-aligned courseware for both levels, case studies, practice questions, mock exams and revision aids. The materials mirror the Foundation and Practitioner syllabi so your preparation maps directly to each exam.
