    Attend both days and take part in the workshops, exercises, and discussions. Active participation in the full 16-hour course is the requirement Scrum Alliance sets for the CSPO credential.

    Step 3: Trainer Submits Your Completion

    After the course, your CST submits your successful participation to Scrum Alliance, which adds the CSPO credential to your Scrum Alliance account.

    Step 4: Accept the License Agreement and Earn CSPO

    Accept the Scrum Alliance License Agreement in your account to activate your Certified Scrum Product Owner® credential, digital badge, and 2-year Scrum Alliance membership. There is no exam.

    Step 5: Maintain Your Credential

    CSPO is valid for 2 years. Renew by earning 20 Scrum Education Units (SEUs) and paying the Scrum Alliance renewal fee before your credential expires.

    Is there an exam for the CSPO certification?

    No. The CSPO has no examination. The credential is awarded directly by Scrum Alliance on successful completion of an approved course delivered by a Certified Scrum Trainer, so there is no test to pass after the course.

    How is the CSPO credential awarded?

    After you complete the approved course, your trainer submits your details and you accept the Scrum Alliance licence agreement through your member account. Scrum Alliance then activates your CSPO credential and digital badge, with no further exam required.

    How long is the CSPO certification valid and how do I renew it?
