Market Forces Fuelling Risk Demand in Poland

    Regulatory Risk Pressure in Banking

Poland's banks and insurers face constant regulatory change, so lenders need specialists who can plan risk strategy and evidence structured, audit-ready governance across programmes.

PMI-RMP builds risk strategy and governance skills

    Energy Transition Complexity

Offshore wind, grid modernisation and power projects carry high consequence and cost, demanding quantitative analysis and response planning that certified risk professionals provide.

PMI-RMP builds risk analysis and response skills

    Recovery Plan Programme Scale

KPO investment of PLN 27.4bn in mobility and PLN 19.2bn in healthcare creates large public programmes that need portfolio-grade risk identification, monitoring and escalation.

PMI-RMP builds risk aggregation and monitoring skills

    Business Services Delivery Risk

With 1,700+ SSC, GBS and IT centres migrating critical processes, employers need consistent risk registers and controls to protect transitions and client commitments at scale.

PMI-RMP standardises risk practice across teams

    Risk Specialist Scarcity

Poland has a deep PMP project pool but few dedicated risk specialists. PMI-RMP's experience prerequisites and specialist exam make credential holders rare and sought after.

PMI-RMP makes certified risk leaders stand out

    Agile and Hybrid Transformation

As IT and product delivery shift to agile and hybrid, teams must manage uncertainty differently, a gap the current ECO addresses across predictive and adaptive environments.

PMI-RMP covers risk across all delivery approaches

    General

Is the PMI-RMP certification worth it in Poland?

Yes. PMI-RMP is a specialist PMI credential that is in demand across Poland's banking, energy, IT and infrastructure sectors, where structured project risk management is critical. Certified risk professionals report a market pay premium, and senior risk roles in Poland average around zl294,800 per year.

What is the PMI-RMP certification and who is it for?

The PMI Risk Management Professional (PMI-RMP) is PMI's specialist credential in project risk management. It recognises expertise in assessing risks, mitigating threats and capitalising on opportunities. It suits risk managers, senior project managers, risk consultants and PMO analysts who specialise in risk on projects and programmes.

Do I need a PMP before taking PMI-RMP?

No. PMP is not a prerequisite for PMI-RMP. You can apply directly based on your risk management experience and education. Many PMI-RMP holders also hold PMP, as the two credentials are complementary.

Which standard is the PMI-RMP training based on?

The training follows the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline (ECO) effective January 2022, together with PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management. The current ECO covers predictive, agile and hybrid risk management across five domains.

How long is the PMI-RMP certification valid?

PMI-RMP is valid for three years from the date of certification. To maintain it, you earn 30 PDUs in risk management topics within each three-year continuing certification requirements (CCR) cycle.

    Pricing

What is included in the PMI-RMP course fee in Poland?

The training fee includes PMI-aligned courseware, instructor-led sessions, practice questions, mock exams, application guidance and learner support. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI. Training prices in Poland are available on request; request a quote for current batches.

How much does the PMI-RMP exam cost?

For reference, PMI lists the exam at around USD 520 for members and USD 670 for non-members, billed in USD and subject to change. Verify current fees at pmi.org. PMI membership can reduce the exam cost and gives free access to the Practice Standard for Project Risk Management.

Is the exam fee part of the training price?

No. The PMI-RMP exam fee is paid separately to PMI through your PMI.org account. Our training fee covers the course, materials and exam-preparation resources, not the PMI exam fee.

Do you offer group or corporate pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for risk functions, PMOs and delivery teams. Contact us for a tailored quote or ask about corporate pricing for your team.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, with instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The PMI-RMP exam has 115 questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book with multiple-choice questions in single-answer and multiple-answer formats.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

There are five domains under the January 2022 ECO: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What if I do not pass the exam on the first attempt?

PMI permits up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our preparation, mock exams and domain-wise practice are designed to build readiness, and re-examination fees apply to further attempts as set by PMI.

Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam in Poland?

You can sit the exam online via Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre in Poland. Scheduling is done through the Pearson VUE or PMI portal after your application is approved.

What are the eligibility requirements for PMI-RMP?

PMI offers three sets. Set A: secondary diploma plus 36 months of risk experience in the last 5 years and 40 hours of risk education. Set B: bachelor's degree plus 24 months and 30 hours. Set C: a GAC-accredited degree plus 12 months and 30 hours. Experience must be specifically in project risk management.

    Course Content

What will I learn in the PMI-RMP training?

You will learn to plan risk strategy, identify threats and opportunities, run qualitative and quantitative analysis, plan and implement responses, and monitor and close risks. The course spans predictive, agile and hybrid delivery, mapped to the five ECO domains.

Does the training satisfy the PMI-RMP education requirement?

The programme provides 32 contact hours of risk management education, which fully satisfies the 30-hour requirement for Set B and Set C applicants. Set A applicants need 40 hours and should add at least 8 further hours of risk training.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The programme includes practice questions and full-length mock exams aligned to the 115-question format, plus topic-wise quizzes to help you find weak areas and build exam readiness.

Is the courseware aligned with the current PMI-RMP syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PMI-RMP Examination Content Outline effective January 2022 and PMI's Practice Standard for Project Risk Management, covering both predictive and agile or hybrid approaches.

Can I take this training if I am new to formal risk management?

You can enrol to learn the material, and the training builds concepts from the ground up. To sit the exam, though, PMI requires documented project risk management experience, so check the eligibility sets before you apply.
