What if I do not pass the PMI-RMP exam first time?

PMI allows up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance to help you prepare thoroughly and reduce the worry of a resit.

How many questions are on the PMI-RMP exam and how long is it?

The exam has 115 questions and lasts 2.5 hours (150 minutes). It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions delivered online or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

What are the PMI-RMP exam domains and their weights?

Five domains per the ECO effective January 2022: Risk Strategy and Planning (20%), Risk Identification (20%), Risk Analysis (23%), Risk Response (22%) and Monitor and Close Risks (15%).

What is the passing score for the PMI-RMP exam?

PMI does not publish a fixed pass mark. Results are determined through psychometric analysis and reported with domain-level feedback of Above Target, Target, Below Target or Needs Improvement, so aim for broad mastery across all five domains.

Where can I take the PMI-RMP exam in Porto?

You can sit the exam at a Pearson VUE test centre or online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or the office. Scheduling is done through the PMI portal or the Pearson VUE website.

Do I need prior experience to take the PMI-RMP training?

You can join the training at any stage, but the PMI-RMP exam itself requires project risk management experience. The programme builds your knowledge across all five domains and provides the 32 contact hours that count toward the education requirement.

The training covers the five ECO domains: risk strategy and planning, risk identification, risk analysis, risk response, and monitoring and closing risks, across predictive, agile and hybrid projects, plus exam strategy.

Does the training satisfy the PMI-RMP education requirement?
