    What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

    It is an open-book, scenario-based objective test using the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual. Questions require analysis and judgement rather than recall, and are delivered online through PeopleCert OnVUE proctoring or at an authorised test centre.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, and you have 150 minutes (2 hours 30 minutes) to complete it. It is based on the PRINCE2 7 Practitioner Syllabus aligned to the PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023) manual.

    What does open book mean for this exam?

    You may use the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual during the exam. However, the questions are scenario-based, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient manual navigation and deep knowledge of the method are both essential, which is why exam technique is built into the training.

    What is the passing score for PRINCE2 Practitioner?

    The pass mark is 60 percent, meaning you need at least 42 out of 70 marks. Our training focuses on broad mastery across all nine syllabus areas so you are ready for whichever scenarios appear.

    What if I do not pass the first time?

    Do I need PRINCE2 Foundation before this course?
