    How to Get Agile Scrum Master Certified in SenegalStep-by-Step Certification Process

    The path to online ASM certification in Senegal begins with the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) credential, which serves as the prerequisite for Agile Scrum Master certification. Once eligibility requirements are met, candidates complete accredited training, schedule the examination, and earn a lifetime-valid Scrum credential.

    Step 1: Confirm ASM Eligibility

    Confirm you hold the EXIN Agile Scrum Foundation (ASF) credential as a prerequisite. Working knowledge of the Scrum framework , roles, events, artifacts, values , is expected before ASM training. Prior experience on a Scrum team in any role (developer, BA, tester, coordinator) is recommended.

    Step 2: Enrol in the 2-Day ASM Training

    Choose your preferred Invensis Learning ASM cohort (2-Day Live Online Bootcamp, E-Learning, or Corporate Group Training). On enrolment you receive EXIN-aligned ASM courseware, facilitation workshops, servant-leadership materials, and 40-question scenario mock-exam material.

    Step 3: Register on the EXIN Candidate Portal

    Create or sign in to your EXIN account at exin.com. EXIN registration is free and gives you access to candidate resources, exam scheduling, and digital badge delivery on passing.

    Step 4: Schedule the ASM Exam

    Pay the EXIN ASM exam fee (~$240) and book your exam through the EXIN candidate portal , EXIN online proctored from your home or office in Senegal, or at an approved EXIN test center.

    Step 5: Sit the 40-Question ASM Exam

    Sit the 40-question, 90-minute exam. Passing requires 65% (26 out of 40 correct). The exam is closed book and covers Scrum Master role, servant leadership, team facilitation, coaching, and Scrum adoption challenges.

    Step 6: Earn the ASM Credential

    On passing, EXIN issues your ASM digital badge and certificate through the EXIN candidate portal. The credential is valid for life with no renewal or PDU requirements. You can progress to advanced Scrum or agile coaching credentials at your own pace.

    What is the format of the EXIN ASM exam?

    The EXIN Agile Scrum Master exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the EXIN ASM Examination Specification. Questions are scenario-oriented and test your ability to apply Scrum Master facilitation and coaching skills, not just recall.

    How many questions are on the ASM exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 40 multiple-choice questions and an allotted time of 90 minutes. It covers five topic areas: the agile way of thinking, the Scrum Master role, agile estimating and planning, complex projects, and adopting agile.

    What is the passing score for the ASM exam?

    You need 65 percent to pass, which is 26 of the 40 questions correct. Because questions are spread across all five topic areas, broad mastery of the EXIN syllabus is the best preparation.

    How is the ASM exam delivered in Senegal?

    You can sit the exam through EXIN online proctoring from home or office, or at an EXIN accredited testing location, often via an accredited training provider. We guide you through booking once you are ready.

    What happens if I do not pass the exam?

    What topics does the Agile Scrum Master training cover?

    The training covers all five EXIN topic areas: agile way of thinking (20%), the Scrum Master role (25%), agile estimating, planning, monitoring and control (27.5%), complex projects (12.5%) and adopting agile (15%), plus exam preparation.

    How long is the training?

    The programme runs for 16 hours, typically delivered over two full days or four half-days. It is an intensive, practical course that builds Scrum Master capability and prepares you for the EXIN exam.

    Can a beginner take this course?

    Yes. While familiarity with Scrum basics helps, the training builds from core agile and Scrum concepts up to the Scrum Master role, so motivated beginners can follow it. Trainer support and practice activities help you keep pace.

    What learning materials are provided?

    You receive EXIN-aligned courseware, practice questions and mock assessments, reference materials on the Scrum framework, and trainer-led examples and exercises that connect each topic to real delivery situations.

    Will I get a certificate of completion?

    Yes. After meeting the course requirements you receive a course completion certificate. To earn the EXIN Agile Scrum Master credential itself, you then pass the EXIN ASM exam.
