    What is the format of the IASSC Green Belt exam?

    The exam is closed book with multiple-choice and true or false questions. It can be taken online with 24/7 proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre, and is based on the IASSC Green Belt Body of Knowledge covering the five DMAIC phases.

    How many questions are on the exam and how long is it?

    The exam has 100 questions, with up to 10 additional non-graded questions on some forms, and an allotted time of three hours. Roughly 20 questions cover each of the five DMAIC phases.

    What score do I need to pass?

    You should achieve a minimum score of 385 out of 550 points. Because questions are spread across all five DMAIC phases, broad mastery of the Body of Knowledge is the best preparation strategy.
