    General

Is the Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner certification worth it in Angola?

Yes. The EXIN BCS Business Analysis Foundation and Practitioner credentials are globally recognised and BCS-quality-assured, and business analysis is in growing demand in Angola as banks digitise and the economy diversifies. Certified analysts qualify for roles across banking, oil and gas, telecoms and consulting.

What are the EXIN BCS Business Analysis certifications?

They are two qualifications developed by EXIN in partnership with BCS, The Chartered Institute for IT. The Foundation certificate validates knowledge of business analysis concepts and techniques, and the Practitioner certificate validates the ability to apply them in realistic project scenarios. Both align to the BCS Business Analysis Body of Knowledge.

Who should take this business analysis course?

It suits aspiring business analysts, IT professionals moving into analysis, project managers adding requirements skills, and practising analysts formalising their knowledge. In Angola it is popular with professionals in banking, energy, telecoms and consulting who work on change and transformation projects.

How long are the certifications valid?

Both the Foundation and Practitioner certifications are for lifetime. Neither credential expires and there is no renewal, re-examination or continuing-education requirement once you have passed.

    Is the certification recognised internationally?

Yes. EXIN operates in over 165 countries and BCS is the UK's chartered professional body for IT. The combined credential has strong recognition across the UK, Commonwealth, Europe, Asia, the Middle East and Africa, which supports careers both in Angola and abroad.

    Pricing

What is included in the training fee?

    Exam

What is the format of the EXIN BCS Foundation exam?

How does the Practitioner exam differ from the Foundation exam?

The Practitioner exam is also 40 questions in 60 minutes, closed book, with a 65 percent pass mark, but its questions are scenario-based and test the application and analysis of business analysis techniques rather than recall. It builds on the Foundation-level knowledge.

Are there prerequisites for the exams?

The Foundation certificate has no formal prerequisites and is open to all. The Foundation certificate is the recommended prerequisite for the Practitioner certificate, which is why the combined programme covers both levels in sequence.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate EXIN examinations: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. They are typically arranged through an EXIN Accredited Training Provider as part of the combined package.

What if I do not pass an exam on the first attempt?

You can re-sit an EXIN exam; re-sit policy and any fees are confirmed by EXIN. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and first-attempt guidance for both levels to help you prepare thoroughly and reduce the risk of a re-sit.

    Course Content

What topics does the course cover?

The Foundation part covers 14 topic areas including investigation techniques, requirements engineering, business process modelling, stakeholder analysis and the business case. The Practitioner part covers seven applied topic areas, all assessed through realistic project scenarios.
