    General

Is PRINCE2 certification worth it in Adelaide?

Yes. PRINCE2 is a recognised, method-based project management credential that Adelaide employers in defence, government, health and technology frequently specify in tenders and job briefs. It opens roles from project coordinator through to senior project and PMO management, where local salaries run from around A$85,000 to well above A$155,000.

What is the PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner certification?

It is a combined, two-level project management certification based on PRINCE2 (PRojects IN Controlled Environments). Foundation confirms you understand the method, and Practitioner confirms you can apply and tailor it to real projects. Both are governed by AXELOS and delivered by PeopleCert.

Which edition of PRINCE2 does this training cover?

The training is aligned to the current PRINCE2 7th Edition (2023), published by PeopleCert under AXELOS. PRINCE2 7 introduced the People capability as a core element, renamed Themes to Practices, and integrated agile and sustainability considerations.

Who should take this PRINCE2 course?

It suits aspiring and practising project managers, project coordinators, team members working in PRINCE2 environments, and PMP or CAPM holders working in Australian and Commonwealth markets. There are no prerequisites for Foundation, so beginners can start here.

How long are the PRINCE2 certifications valid?

Both PRINCE2 Foundation and Practitioner are valid for three years. Foundation is renewed by earning 60 CPD points per cycle, while Practitioner can be renewed by re-taking the exam, completing CPD via a MyAxelos subscription, or passing a higher PRINCE2 qualification.

    Pricing

How much does PRINCE2 training cost in Adelaide?

Pricing depends on your chosen format and schedule, so exact fees are available on request. The training fee and the two PeopleCert exam fees are quoted separately. Contact a learning advisor for a current quote for Adelaide.

What is included in the course fee?

The training fee typically includes accredited-aligned courseware, practice questions, mock exams, learner support and a course completion record. Confirm whether the two exam vouchers are bundled or purchased separately when you request your quote.

Are the PRINCE2 exam fees included in the price?

PeopleCert bills the Foundation and Practitioner exam fees, and pricing varies by region and channel. Depending on the package, exams may be bundled with training or purchased separately. Ask your advisor which option applies to your enrolment.

Do you offer corporate or group pricing?

Yes. We offer corporate group training with customised schedules and volume-based pricing for project teams, PMOs and departments in Adelaide. Contact us for a tailored group quote.

    What payment options are available?

We accept major credit and debit cards and bank transfers, and offer instalment options on selected plans. Speak with a learning advisor to choose the option that suits you.

    Exam

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 60 multiple-choice questions and runs for 60 minutes. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 36 out of 60 correct. It tests your knowledge and comprehension of the PRINCE2 method.

What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks and runs for 150 minutes. It is open book, with the Managing Successful Projects manual permitted, and the pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It uses scenario-based questions.

Do I need Foundation before taking Practitioner?

Yes. PRINCE2 Foundation, or an accepted equivalent such as PMP, CAPM or IPMA Level A to D, is required before you sit the Practitioner exam. In this combined program you take Foundation first, then Practitioner.

Where can I sit the PRINCE2 exams?

Both exams are delivered by PeopleCert, either online through its OnVUE proctored system, available around the clock, or at an authorised test centre. They are usually arranged as part of the combined training and dual exam package.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can re-sit a PeopleCert exam, and our training includes structured preparation and mock exams to build your readiness first. Confirm the current re-sit policy and any re-examination fee with PeopleCert or your advisor before booking.

    Course Content

What topics does the PRINCE2 training cover?

The syllabus covers the seven PRINCE2 principles, the People capability, the seven practices (business case, organising, plans, quality, risk, issues and progress) and the seven processes from Starting Up to Closing a Project, plus product-based planning and tailoring.

Can a beginner take this course?

Yes. Foundation has no prerequisites and starts from the fundamentals, so beginners and those new to PRINCE2 can take it. The program then builds toward Practitioner-level application, supported by trainer guidance and practice throughout.

Are practice tests and mock exams included?

Yes. The program includes practice questions, full-length mock exams and topic-wise quizzes for both levels, including open-book manual navigation practice for the Practitioner exam, to help you identify weak areas and build confidence.

Is the courseware aligned with the latest syllabus?

Yes. The courseware is aligned to the PRINCE2 7 Foundation and Practitioner syllabus and the PRINCE2 Managing Successful Projects manual, 7th Edition (2023), so you study the current version of the method.
