    The Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM) is PMI's entry-level credential proving you understand the fundamentals, terminology and processes of project management. It is designed for students, recent graduates, career changers and project team members with limited or no project experience.

    Is the CAPM certification worth it in Denmark?

    Yes. With Denmark's labour market near full capacity and skills shortages in tech, energy and life sciences, a recognised PMI credential helps newcomers stand out for entry-level project roles such as project coordinator and PMO analyst, and sets a clear path toward the PMP.

    Do I need work experience to take the CAPM?

    No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary degree (or global equivalent) and 23 hours of project management education, which this course provides.

    Is the CAPM recognised internationally?

    Yes. CAPM is a PMI credential recognised by employers in over 200 countries. In Denmark and abroad it signals foundational project knowledge and commitment to the profession, and it transfers easily across sectors and borders.

    How long is the CAPM certification valid?

    CAPM is valid for three years from the date of certification. Unlike the PMP, CAPM is renewed by retaking and passing the exam within the three-year cycle rather than by earning PDUs.

    How much does CAPM training cost in Denmark?

    How much is the CAPM exam fee?

    For reference only, PMI's CAPM exam fee is around USD 225 for members and USD 300 for non-members, and varies by region. PMI membership can reduce the fee and gives free access to the PMBOK Guide. Verify current fees at pmi.org before you apply.

    What is the format of the CAPM exam?

    The CAPM exam is a closed-book, multiple-choice examination based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition. It is delivered via Pearson VUE OnVUE online proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. Question formats include single-answer and multiple-answer multiple choice.

    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The exam covers four domains from the 2023 CAPM ECO: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks. Together they span predictive, agile and hybrid delivery.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all four.

    What happens if I do not pass the first time?

    You may take up to three attempts within your one-year eligibility period. Reexamination fees apply to the second and third attempts. Our mock exams, practice questions and trainer guidance are designed to help you pass with confidence.

    Yes. CAPM is built for beginners and needs no prior project experience, only a secondary degree. The training starts from fundamentals and uses examples and practice to help newcomers build confidence step by step.

    Does this course meet the 23-hour education requirement?

    Yes. The programme provides the 23 hours of project management education PMI requires to apply for the CAPM exam, fully satisfying the education prerequisite as an instructor-led CAPM course.

    Is the courseware aligned with the latest CAPM syllabus?

    Yes. The courseware is aligned to the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023 and the PMBOK Guide 8th Edition, together with the Agile Practice Guide, so you study the current exam content.
