Assessment

Is there an exam for this course?

No. This is a non-certification skills course with no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the programme rather than a formal test.

Do I receive anything on completion?

Yes. On completing the programme you receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. The practical skills you build are immediately applicable to CI/CD, infrastructure automation and containerised deployment on Azure.

How is my learning assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each concept through hands-on exercises: configuring pipelines, deploying infrastructure as code, and setting up monitoring, so you build proficiency by doing rather than by sitting an exam.

Will I be able to build pipelines on my own after the course?

Yes. By the end you can create Azure Repos repositories with branch policies, write YAML CI pipelines with build, test and deploy stages, deploy to Azure App Service or AKS, write Bicep templates, and set up Azure Monitor alerts and dashboards.

Does the course cover security practices?

Yes. The programme covers DevSecOps on Azure, including Microsoft Defender for DevOps for secret, dependency and infrastructure-as-code scanning, along with Azure Key Vault-linked pipeline secrets and branch policies as security controls.

What will I learn in the Azure DevOps course?

You learn source control with Azure Repos, CI/CD with Azure Pipelines, agile planning with Azure Boards, package management with Azure Artifacts, infrastructure as code with ARM templates and Bicep, containerised deployment on AKS and ACR, and monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

Does the course include containers and Kubernetes?

Yes. You build Docker images, store them in Azure Container Registry and deploy containerised applications to Azure Kubernetes Service using kubectl and Helm, with image promotion driven from your CI/CD pipeline.
