Assessment

Do I get a certificate after Azure DevOps training?

Yes. You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning after completing the one-day programme. This is a skills training course, so no external credential or awarding body is involved.

Is there a test at the end of the course?

No. This is a non-certification, skills-focused course with no formal assessment. Your learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the day rather than a test.

How is learning reinforced without a test?

Learning is applied continuously through live labs. You build pipelines, write Bicep templates, deploy to AKS and set up monitoring as you go, so you leave able to do the work, not just describe it.

Does this training make me certified in Azure DevOps?

The course builds practical Azure DevOps skills and awards a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. It is training rather than a credentialing programme, and there is no governing body or formal credential attached.

Course Content

What topics does Azure DevOps training cover?

The course covers DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, source control with Azure Repos, CI/CD with Azure Pipelines, agile planning with Azure Boards, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, monitoring, and DevSecOps.

Is the training hands-on?

Yes. You follow along in the Azure DevOps portal and Azure CLI throughout, building a repository with branch policies, a YAML CI/CD pipeline, a Bicep deployment, an AKS deployment and Azure Monitor alerts.

What will I be able to do after the course?

You will be able to build CI/CD pipelines in Azure Pipelines, manage source control in Azure Repos, automate infrastructure with Bicep, deploy containers to AKS, and monitor services with Azure Monitor and Application Insights.

How long is the Azure DevOps course?

The programme runs for one day (eight hours), and can also be delivered as two half-days. It covers all six modules with concept explanations, Azure context and hands-on exercises throughout.

Does the course cover DevSecOps and security?

Yes. You learn to shift security left with Microsoft Defender for DevOps, including secret, dependency and infrastructure-as-code scanning, and to secure pipelines using Azure Key Vault-linked variable groups.
