    Exam

What is the format of the Foundation exam?

The Foundation exam has 50 multiple-choice questions with a 40-minute duration. It is closed book, and the pass mark is 50% (25 out of 50 correct). It is usually taken at the end of the Foundation portion of the course.

What is the format of the Practitioner exam?

The Practitioner exam is open book, with the Change Management Practitioner Guide permitted. It has 5 scenario-based sections, each worth 16 marks (80 marks total), over 2.5 hours. The pass mark is 50% (40 out of 80 marks).

How many exams are there in the combined programme?

What does open book mean for the Practitioner exam?

You may use the Change Management Practitioner Guide during the exam. However, the scenario-based sections require analysis and judgment, so you cannot simply look up answers. Efficient navigation of the guide and solid method knowledge are both essential, and the course helps you practise this.

What if I do not pass an exam the first time?

You can resit the relevant exam. Our training includes mock exams, practice questions and exam-technique guidance to prepare you thoroughly for both papers. Confirm current resit policies and any retake options with a learning advisor before you book.
