What is the format of the PRINCE2 Practitioner exam?

The PRINCE2 7 Practitioner exam has 56 questions and sub-questions worth 70 marks, lasts 150 minutes and is open book, with the PRINCE2 manual permitted. The pass mark is 60%, which is 42 out of 70 marks. It is scenario based and tests how you apply and tailor PRINCE2.

How many exams are in the combined programme?

There are two separate PeopleCert exams: the Foundation exam and the Practitioner exam. You must sit and pass both to hold both credentials. Foundation is typically taken first, then Practitioner, which requires Foundation or an accepted equivalent.

Where can I take the PRINCE2 exams?

You can take both exams online through PeopleCert's online proctored system, available 24/7, or at an authorised test centre. Exams are usually arranged as part of your accredited training package.

What happens if I do not pass an exam the first time?
