What topics does the AWS DevOps course cover?

It covers DevOps principles and the AWS ecosystem, source control and CI with CodeCommit and CodeBuild, continuous delivery with CodeDeploy and CodePipeline, infrastructure as code with CloudFormation and CDK, containers on ECS and EKS, and monitoring, DevSecOps and continuous improvement with CloudWatch.

What hands-on exercises are included?

You create a CodeCommit repository and buildspec, build a pipeline with CodeBuild, CodeDeploy and manual approval, write and deploy a CloudFormation template, deploy a containerised app to Amazon ECS, and set up CloudWatch alarms and dashboards.

How long is the AWS DevOps training?

The programme runs for one day (8 hours), covering all six modules with concept explanations and hands-on AWS exercises. It can also be delivered as two half-days depending on the schedule.

Which AWS tools will I learn?

You work with CodeCommit, CodeBuild, CodeDeploy, CodePipeline, CloudFormation, the AWS CDK, Amazon ECR, ECS and EKS, Amazon CloudWatch and IAM, alongside DevSecOps practices across the pipeline.
