    Yes.     Do I need work experience to take CAPM?

    No. CAPM is the only PMI practitioner credential that requires no project management work experience. You need a secondary school qualification and 23 hours of project management education, which this training provides in full.

    How long is the CAPM certification valid?

    CAPM is valid for three years. Unlike PMP, you renew CAPM by retaking and passing the exam within the three-year cycle rather than by earning PDUs.

    Is CAPM recognised internationally?

    Yes. As a PMI credential, CAPM is recognised globally through PMI's network in more than 200 countries. Employers value it as a credible entry-level project management credential and a signal of commitment to the profession.

    How much does CAPM training cost in Jamaica?

    CAPM training pricing varies by format and schedule, so it is available on request. The PMI exam fee is billed separately by PMI in USD and is not part of the training fee. Contact us for a tailored quote for individual or group training.

    Is the CAPM exam fee included in the training price?

    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the 2023 Examination Content Outline: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts (36%), Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies (17%), Agile Frameworks and Methodologies (20%) and Business Analysis Frameworks (27%).

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam and how long is it?

    The CAPM exam has 150 questions and you have three hours (180 minutes) to complete it. It is closed book, with single-answer and multiple-answer multiple-choice questions.

    Is there a fixed passing score for CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score that is not published as a fixed number. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of the whole outline.

    Where can I take the CAPM exam?

    You can take the CAPM exam online through Pearson VUE's OnVUE proctoring from home or office, or at a Pearson VUE test centre. Scheduling is done through Pearson VUE or the PMI portal after your application is approved.

    What if I do not pass on the first attempt?

    You get up to three attempts within the one-year eligibility period from application approval. Our training includes practice questions, mock exams and first-attempt guidance to help you prepare thoroughly and reduce the chance of a retake.
