Do I receive a certificate after the course?

Yes. You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning on finishing the programme. This is a certificate of completion, not an external certification, and it recognises the practical skills you have built.

How am I assessed during the training?

There is no formal assessment. You apply each Azure DevOps service through practical exercises during the session, configuring pipelines, repositories, infrastructure as code and monitoring as you learn.

Is this an accredited certification course?

No. Azure DevOps training is practical skills training with no awarding body and no accreditation exam. The skills you learn are immediately applicable to CI/CD, infrastructure automation and containerised deployment on Azure.

How can I evidence what I learned to employers?

Course Content

What topics does the Azure DevOps course cover?

The course spans six modules: DevOps principles and the Azure ecosystem, source control with Azure Repos and CI with Azure Pipelines, continuous delivery, Agile planning with Azure Boards plus infrastructure as code, containers and monitoring, and DevSecOps with Azure Test Plans.

Will I get hands-on practice during the training?

Yes. Hands-on Azure exercises run throughout the programme. You follow along in the Azure DevOps portal and Azure CLI as the trainer demonstrates each service and pipeline configuration.

Does the course cover CI/CD pipelines?

Yes. You learn to build YAML pipelines in Azure Pipelines that automate build, test and artefact publishing, then extend them into multi-stage deployments to Azure App Service and Azure Kubernetes Service.

Is infrastructure as code included?

Yes. The training covers infrastructure as code with ARM templates and Bicep, including how to deploy them directly from Azure Pipelines for consistent, repeatable and auditable environments.

Does the training cover containers and Kubernetes?

Yes. You learn to build Docker images, store them in Azure Container Registry, and deploy containerised applications to Azure Kubernetes Service using Helm and Azure Pipelines, plus monitoring with Azure Monitor.

How long is the Azure DevOps training?

The course runs as a one-day, eight-hour programme covering all six modules with hands-on Azure exercises. It can also be delivered as two half-day sessions to fit around working schedules.
