    What does the CAPM exam cover?

    The CAPM exam covers four domains from the CAPM Examination Content Outline effective 2023: Project Management Fundamentals and Core Concepts, Predictive Plan-Based Methodologies, Agile Frameworks and Methodologies, and Business Analysis Frameworks.

    How many questions are on the CAPM exam?

    The CAPM exam has 150 questions and you have three hours to complete it. The questions are multiple choice, in single-answer and multiple-answer formats.

    How and where do I take the CAPM exam?

    You can sit the CAPM exam online through Pearson VUE OnVUE proctoring or at a Pearson VUE test centre. The exam is closed book and based on the CAPM Examination Content Outline aligned to the PMBOK Guide, Eighth Edition.

    Is there a fixed passing score for the CAPM?

    No. PMI uses a psychometrically determined passing score rather than a fixed percentage. Results are reported as pass or fail with performance feedback across the four CAPM domains, so aim for broad mastery of all of them.

    What if I do not pass the CAPM on the first attempt?
