Assessment

Is there an exam for this course?

No. This is a non-certification skills training course, so there is no examination. Learning is reinforced through hands-on Azure DevOps exercises throughout the programme, and you receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning on completing it.

What do I receive after completing the training?

You receive a Course Completion Certificate from Invensis Learning. There is no external credential or awarding body; the value is the practical, workplace-ready Azure DevOps skills you build and can apply immediately.

How are the skills assessed during the course?

There is no formal assessment. Instead, you apply what you learn through live labs, configuring pipelines, writing Bicep templates, deploying containers and setting up monitoring, so your understanding is tested by doing rather than by an exam.

Will I be able to apply these skills at work?

Yes. The training is built around realistic scenarios and hands-on exercises so you leave able to build CI/CD pipelines, automate infrastructure, deploy to AKS and monitor systems on Azure. Many learners apply the skills on real projects within days.

Can beginners to Azure keep up?

Yes. The course introduces each Azure DevOps service from the ground up and follows a guided, practical flow. Some basic development or operations awareness helps, but you do not need prior Azure DevOps experience to benefit fully.

What topics does the Azure DevOps course cover?

The course covers DevOps principles and the Azure DevOps ecosystem, source control with Azure Repos, CI/CD with Azure Pipelines, agile planning with Azure Boards, infrastructure as code with ARM and Bicep, containers with ACR and AKS, monitoring with Azure Monitor and Application Insights, and DevSecOps.

How long is the training?

The programme is delivered in a one-day, eight-hour format covering all six modules with hands-on Azure exercises throughout. An extended two half-day option is also available, keeping the same total training hours.

Are there hands-on labs included?

Yes. Hands-on Azure labs run throughout, including creating a repository with branch policies, writing a YAML CI pipeline, adding a deployment stage, deploying a Bicep template, and setting up Azure Monitor alerts and an Application Insights dashboard.

Is the content up to date with current Azure services?

Yes. The curriculum reflects the current Azure DevOps services and practices, including YAML pipelines, Bicep infrastructure as code, AKS deployment and Microsoft Defender for DevOps for security scanning.
